Join us for an epic adventure through the Spice Garden of India.
Our new tour of Kerala takes us through some of India's most diverse and picturesque landscapes. Our journey begins in the enchanting city of Cochin, where we'll view the iconic Chinese fishing nets, a testament to the region's historical trade connections. We’ll also explore the rich heritage of the city as we visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, and the Jewish Synagogue adorned with vibrant colours and intricate details.
From Cochin, we'll venture to the imposing hill station of Munnar, nestled amidst the Western Ghats. We’ll delight in the picturesque tea plantations that carpet the rolling hills, providing a stunning backdrop for our photography. As the mist rolls through the valleys, we’ll capture the tranquility of this tea haven and the unique way of life of the local workers.
Our journey then takes us to the wildlife sanctuary of Periyar, a haven for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike, where we’ll explore the lush green forests teeming with rich biodiversity. We’ll enjoy a serene boat trip along the Periyar Lake, with a chance to see bathing elephants, elusive tigers prowling through the verdant foliage, and rare bird species soaring above.
No visit to Kerala is complete without experiencing the mesmerising backwaters of Alleppey with its intricate network of palm-fringed canals. We’ll capture the serenity of the backwaters as we photograph the lush green paddy fields, vibrant birdlife, and the traditional lifestyle of the local people.
This adventure tour will be led by Ashfaq Rah, a native of Kashmir who is not only a seasoned photographer but also a second-generation tour operator with a deep understanding of the culture, history, and traditions of the region. He'll provide valuable insights and guidance to help you capture the essence of Kashmir and Ladakh through your lens. This is a perfect opportunity for photographers to explore and capture the beauty of Kerala in southwest India, while immersing themselves in its rich culture and history.
