Join us for a photography tour of north-western Vietnam, from the Red River Delta to the mountains around Sapa, starting and finishing in Hanoi. We begin with sunrise exercise at Hoan Kiem Lake, street photography in the Old Quarter, graduating students at the Temple of Literature and the train street. Heading south, we photograph cottage industries, then walk through mangroves to Infinity Beach, where fishermen haul large nets across mirror-like sands at low tide. In Ninh Binh, often likened to Halong Bay on land, we explore its waterways and farmland paths. We visit a craft village outside Hanoi before reaching the tea plantations of Long Coc to photograph sunrise, sunset and the workers. We continue to the rice terraces and hill tribe villages of Mu Cang Chai, then pass Fansipan, Vietnam’s highest mountain, on the way to Sapa.
